Auckland Bioengineering Institute (ABI) is a world-leading research institute that aims to improve medical diagnosis and treatment of injury and disease. It applies engineering sciences and technical innovation to medicine and human physiology.Their Cancer Imaging Group develops imaging-based tools and technologies to enable the accurate diagnosis, staging and treatment of cancer. This includes predictive software tools, imaging biomarkers, novel imaging devices, and computational models to understand cancer metastasis through the lymphatic system.
